I took a leave of absence from pottery for over 45 years and fell in love again in my 60's! I work in my home studio with cone 5/6 clay and glazes and also create pieces in a group studio that fires cone 10 clay and glazes in reduction. The best of both worlds! My pottery is mostly functional and I do several craft shows annually. We live on a large property in the California mountains with our chickens, cats and dog.
