Pottery has always been a creative outlet for me. Now that I am semi-retired I have more time to make things and also teach from my home. The photo is a slab 5x5 plate with a snowflake designed pressed into it. I used domestic porcelain clay from Minnesota Clay Co., Rainbow celadon glaze in the snowflakes with one heavy coat and 3 coast of Snow celadon over that. Fired at cone 5, no hold.
