The Supplier Quality Supervisor is responsible for developing and managing a supplier quality program that ensures purchased components and raw materials consistently meet Amaco and Brent’s standards. This role designs the supplier quality framework, leads incoming inspections, and ensures suppliers adhere to quality, delivery, and compliance requirements. The supervisor partners closely with production, procurement, and engineering to resolve supplier-related issues promptly and sustainably, while fostering strong external supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement.

The Mechanical Assembler at AMACO is responsible for assembling, labeling, packaging, and inspecting mechanical and electrical products to ensure quality and accuracy. Key duties include preassembling mechanical and electrical subassemblies, using measuring devices, reading blueprints and wiring diagrams, operating power tools and equipment safely, and performing product inspections. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, occasional training of coworkers, and a commitment to quality and safety standards. Candidates must be comfortable with heavy lifting (50+ pounds), prolonged standing, and working in a manufacturing environment that may become hot. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with at least one year of related manufacturing or assembly experience preferred. This full-time position supports AMACO's focus on teamwork, continuous improvement, and high-quality production.
The Painter/Prepper at AMACO is responsible for preparing, painting, and maintaining mechanical products and equipment while supporting a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. Key duties include preparing parts for painting, deburring components before welding, performing painting and assembly tasks, conducting equipment and paint booth maintenance, and following Bills of Materials and work instructions. The role requires operating material-handling and painting equipment, wearing a respirator, working in hot environments, and lifting up to 70 pounds. Candidates should have strong communication, reading comprehension, and teamwork skills, with a high school diploma required and at least one year of related experience preferred. This is a full-time manufacturing position focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
The Shipping Operator at AMACO is responsible for supporting warehouse and distribution operations by picking, packing, staging, labeling, and shipping products accurately and efficiently. Key duties include preparing customer orders, loading and unloading trailers, operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and RF scanners, performing cycle counts, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The role requires working across multiple shipping areas, including dock operations, international shipments, and carrier services such as UPS and FedEx. Candidates must be able to follow work instructions, use warehouse management systems and basic computer applications, maintain a safe and organized work environment, and lift up to 100 pounds when necessary. This full-time position requires strong attention to detail, warehouse and logistics skills, equipment operation experience, and a commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
The Crude Clay Lead at AMACO is an entry-level leadership position responsible for helping oversee daily operations within the Crude Clay Division while supporting production goals, inventory management, employee training, and continuous improvement efforts. Working under the Crude Clay Supervisor, the Lead serves as a working leader by coordinating schedules, providing work direction, assisting with production reporting, maintaining inventory records, processing computer transactions, and ensuring compliance with work instructions and Bills of Materials. The role includes operating manufacturing equipment, handling materials, performing cycle counts, preparing shipping and supply requisitions, documenting procedures, and presenting production information to management. Candidates must demonstrate leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, be able to train and support team members, and work effectively in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, dust, and machinery. The position requires the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, maintain accurate records, manage multiple priorities, and support safe, efficient production operations.
The New Product Development (NPD) Supervisor – Formulated Products at AMACO leads a small team responsible for developing, testing, and scaling formulated products such as glazes, underglazes, waxes, and finishing materials. This role manages day-to-day project execution, ensuring development timelines are met, lab work is coordinated efficiently, and projects move smoothly from concept through formulation and production scale-up.
Key responsibilities include overseeing multiple development projects, maintaining schedules and documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards including OSHA and SDS requirements. The supervisor also manages lab operations, inventory, and equipment maintenance while promoting a strong safety culture and reliable testing practices. In addition, the role coordinates scale-up activities with manufacturing, documents formulation specifications, and supports successful production transfer.
A major focus of the position is team leadership, including supervising and mentoring 2–5 team members, conducting performance check-ins, assigning work, and supporting professional development. The supervisor helps foster a collaborative, creative, and safety-focused work environment aligned with AMACO’s artistic and innovation-driven culture.
This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, hands-on technical ability with formulated products, experience in lab or manufacturing environments, and prior leadership experience. A background in art materials, ceramics, chemistry, or materials science is preferred, along with experience in product development and scale-up processes.
