Imagery on Clay- Tips and Tricks for Surface Adornment

Event Description

In this week-long workshop, students will learn a variety of surface decorating techniques to add depth, vibrancy and unique imagery to their ceramic works. Students will create their own image transfers and templates using Amaco underglazes, learn how to replicate motifs for pattern-making with cookie cutters and various tools, wheel throwing tips and tricks for working with earthenware clay, and mixing slips, underglazes, and glazes.
