Hand-Built SQUARE TRAYS: Building with Soft Clay Slabs

Try out this project where we show you how to build a square tray using ONE soft slab of clay! This project covers a variety of the 3-D Elements and Principles of Design including Texture, Contrast/Variety, and Proportion/Scale.
The final glazed piece on the YouTube thumbnail is glazed with TPL-44 Peridot over TPL-23 Aquamarine and fired to cone 05!

How to Build Square Trays
- Smooth and stamp a moist slab
- Trim excess clay
- Lay plastic wrap on the edges of the slab, and smooth
- Score and attach the corners
- Straighten the sides as needed
- Clean up with a wet paintbrush
