New Cosmos Glazes for 2026!

NEW Cosmos glazes!

This Spring we’re excited to share our new Cosmos glazes! The Cosmos glazes are spectacular crystalline glazes that don’t need a special firing program or cooling cycle to produce out-of-this-world effects. Let’s introduce you to our newest colors!

CO-3 Event Horizon

Event Horizon is a dark glaze that develops softly iridescent crystal fans at cone 5 and becomes increasingly gold at cone 6. Mysterious and magical.

CO-5 Dark Matter

Dark Matter is a dark, glossy glaze that develops spiky rainbow crystal patterns. It’s dark, even on light colored clays, and nearly black on dark clays.

CO-21 Galactic Glacier

Galactic Glacier is a glossy light blue glaze that develops iridescent spiky crystals. It can vary between a frosty blue and almost a periwinkle lavender color as it flows.

CO-24 Blue Starlight

Blue Starlight is a royal blue crystalline glaze with iridescent spiky crystals. It’s a very deep color, like looking into the night sky.

Try using Cosmos glazes on ceramic forms like these:

Cosmos glazes perform best with one side unglazed, allowing the glaze to “breathe” and prevent blistering. If you want to glaze both sides of your ware you can use the Up Down firing program found on our website.

The Cosmos glazes are very fluid in firing. Fire your pieces on a drip tray to catch the glaze. Information on how to make and use a Drip Tray is on our website.
